In the Beginning...

Well here I go. I'm actually going to road map my journey through my weight loss. That means I'm going to put numbers and pictures to my words, giving proof to how things are working, or maybe not so much, and stay on the road to success.

But maybe I should start it off with it being an obituary,  DEATH TO THE BLUBBER BELLY FAT.

Oh my dear Belly Blubber. How I have a Love/Hate relationship with you. You were there when the children needed you, making it a nice comfy space. A place of warmth, and comfort. As well as a place for all the delicious unhealthy foods to hide. How I enjoyed the lovely restaurants that we went to, the Barbeque's, the parties, the mixers. But now i have to say we must part ways. Although, when we were together, it seemed lovely, but in reality, I was in pain. The many pumps/shoes i couldn't buckle/tie, the waist of the many pants that would cut off my circulation. And along with your partner in crime Thunder Thighs, the relationship must end NOW!!!

Okay, now let's move on to what I've been up to. I have been going through an up and down serious roller coaster ride with my weight, mainly around my belly. I would do my It Works! Body Wraps, and Defining Gel, and i would see incredible results. Then the BLOAT would appear time and time again.

I was perplexed. I had been eating great. Organic, Whole Grains, low sugar, everything you would think that was good. Even on a serious grass fed meat only kick. So one would think that I was on the right path and should be dropping pounds like there was no tomorrow. OOOOHHHHH But NOOOOO! The opposite was happening. Now I would lose for a minute, then my belly would bloat up after eating. Then it would go down, then back up after eating. This caused me to step back and ask myself, 'What am i eating that is doing this to me.'

Finally, out of nowhere, well, not really, it was on Dr. Oz, I heard him ask, 'Are you allergic to Wheat?' What, I've never heard of this, other than those with Celiac disease, how could this be. So this started me thinking, and re-thinking my daily food intake. And I thought maybe this is my problem.

That's when I heard Jorge Cruise talk on KTLA one morning. Now I knew I had seen or heard of him, but couldn't pin point it, but what this man was saying was like he was saying what I was going through.
1. Women over 40, Check.
2. Have belly Fat, Check.
3. Eat things like Whole grains, quinoa, barley, smoothies, Check, check check.

So what was the solution. Women's Carb Cycling Plan!!! Woooohoooo. Something just sounded right on my level, where I was at in life, and that it was not due to the awesome foods that I had been swapping in my pantry. But not knowing how to count the TOTAL CARBS. This to me was as if a light bulb went off, and I truly could see the light.

I will talk more about this later. and I promise to put the whole truth and nothing but the truth. So come with me through this incredible journey and make your OWN path to Killing The Blubber Belly.
